Respected Seniors! I m a beginner....I want to take CSS exam in 2013. Plz guide me, What should be my strategy for preparing my English subject...
Tell me step by step strategy.... Thanks

first of all learn tenses, sentence construction, and correction of errors. when you have established command on error free sentence construction then do exercises of english to urdu and urdu to english translation. IN SHA ALLAH by the passing time you will get complete command over English.

1.First of all go through the past papers of essay and composition, then make your mind accordingly, that what are your weak areas, then start working on those.

2.Start solving the papers immediately if you know the grammar rules, otherwise learn them on the very first stage, get Wren and Martin's book/Exploring the world of English for your preparation.They also contain solved and unsolved exercises.They will help you in understanding css English.

3.Start practicing idea expansion/paragraph writing and then essays and assess them first by yourself then by a good English teacher.

4.Make a note book for English, particularly for vocabulary, learn different words each day, preferably from newspapers and write them on your note book, in this way at the end your vocabulary will be enhanced to a great deal.

6.Write and read as much as you can, no substitute of writing for css exams and for improving English.

P.S: ''CSS English'' is a little different and very specific, so going through the past papers should be your first step for analyzing its basic criteria.best of luck!

In English part, précis is the most tricky one. I am practising it by doing précis of Dawn's editorials. It is the best way as it covers one topic objectively and comprehensively. After few months you can shift this practise to Bertrand Russell book " The Conquest of Happiness".
But always remember " A man needs a man to be a man"

I tried and it is downloadable but due to sow speed i m not dowloading it right now. If you say i can send it to you tommorow. Further I think you dont have winrar software which is must to open .rar files. dowload it from net n install in you PC, I hope this will fix ur problem.

thanx ALI , may be you are right, but can i open it with adob reader, or can i convert this file in pdf?

brother first read editorial very carefully and with concentration
even read it 3 to 4 times.
then after giving full reading to it
read first line of paragraph and try to compress it and rephrase it in Ur own language but only extract main point
and
don't use same words again and again and write only main points and ideas
