Question Urgent help required regarding Re-Counting.
I failed to clear a compulsory subject by some marks and wish to request re-counting of the paper. Anyone please guide as to how should I request re-counting and what will be the mode of payment of fee for this purpose. Moreover, what if one wishes to request re-counting of multiple papers? Can this be done on a single application?
Seniors with previous such experience please help.

It would be a futile effort dear. they only do re-counting of marks, not re-checking.
They would hand you over an already typed performa with same marks !!!
it's history. Numerous examples.
simply focus on next attempt if you are left with any.

If you still desire to apply for re-counting, you can contact FPSC 0519205075 !

Thanks sir for your kind reply, I still wish to go for re-counting as I haven't left with any attempt and this is the only remedy available to me. I worked very hard and scored well in all subjects except the one I failed by only 2 marks, so it might depend upon my luck if there was any error in counting my marks and I can just praying for that.
Moreover, someone commented in DMC's of failures 2013 thread that he got his marks increased in re-counting.

dear i doubt his statement. i personally met a deputy director of FPSC and he was of the view that if they started entertaining rechecking/recounting requests, then FPSC would lose credibility.
anyway, must you aplly for recounting if you wish so!


and remember CSS/civil service is not end of life. you must be having ample opportunities in life.

Thanks for you guidance sir, INSHA ALLAH I will work even harder in life. A mere unsussfullness in a competetive exams can not shake my personality, it hurts a bit though when someone burns the midnight oil and is about to achieve something but comes to know that the last hurdle(which won't be tried ever again) needed a better performance.

it happens every year. it has happened with my own brother and a batch mate as well. i earlier said this would be a useless effort. marks would remain unchanged. that deputy director told me that he was working in FPSC for more than 25 years and he witnessed not even a single case in which marks were increased !
FPSC would not set a bad precedent !

Brother First you need to deposit Rs 200 Challan in the treasury and then with a written letter and your dmc copy you can tell them that you want x y z paper numbers recounted and it should be addressed to the secretary fpsc and send to fpsc address in isloo
