The candidates scored generally well in Current Affairs and International Relations in 2013 so I can't claim I did anything special. My only advice for candidates opting for International Relations is to respect the discipline itself and not consider it a current affairs exam. That can be done by using IR specific jargon, theories, examples, references to authors and quotations in the exam - even in seemingly generalised questions.

For me, Customs is at par with DMG, PSP and FSP. It was, however, my 3rd preference.

Junaidd

you have been allocated to Commerce and Trade Group(CTG), while with this merit you could have got PAS, FSP, PSP, Custom, IRS etc. Is there any specific reason for giving priority to CTG upon the other mentioned groups as these groups are generally kept above CTG.

I was allocated to Commerce & Trade (6th preference) in CE-2011. I deferred and took the 2013 exams, as a result of which I was allocated to PAS. CSS Forums hasn't updated that information yet.
