Please do justice with yourself. Change your paradigm from time-bound to topic-domain. No one is able enough to study for so many hours with concentration. It is not even wise to spend this much time. It would mere be a wastage of time and sabotage of self. Be pragmatic. Plan your topics, think about how to go by them. Don't just think to study for 5 or 10 hrs and goal is achieved. Rather work on how to cover them in whatever the time you have. To do this, make effective use of the time and technology_the smart technology. These include taking pdf books in a smart phone if you can afford a one and reading them for example while commuting to or from office or when your are unable to approach your study shelf. You can also take print-outs, not many but a few, with you and read them during such slots. Ask yourself for other similar options and work on them. This I call as mobile reading. Along with this all, plan to cover topics that require more focus on your study shelf only that may be in a room, a library or any other similar place.

The point is to aim covering topics not how many hours to spend. If you go by latter, you will be counting the days in the end and there would be a huge stockpile of uncovered topics. Don't give up if you fear, fall or stumble, this is a part of the battle. The real victory lies in working hard consistently. Hard work pays off. Good Luck.

Objectives are easy for almost all subjects when one reads for concepts. Most of the objectives are repeated every other year. Solve last ten years' past papers. Repeat this practice until you get confidence. :)

Dear All, you guys are so tense on your preparations... I don't know what is in me forcing me to believe, that I need not to worry because I will get pass! too bad or too good, don't know this! :) However I am preparing during my office time all through wikipedia and and online books, from 10am to 7pm with some short intervals of work ;)

It looks like a well-ordered time-table. However, be reminded that the time you give to CSS prep is determined by a variety of factors with mental capacity having the primacy. Some people find even ten months insufficient time for the prep; others achieve wonders in the space of two months. If you can study six hours a day at optimum level for the next two months, be rest assured that you have as much a chance in the exams as others who might have prepared more extensively. Also, the generalist tone of papers of most of the subjects in recent years implies that one can attempt the questions to a degree, if the linguistic skills are there along with some rudimentary command over the subject.
So, be rest assured, with many of us working in day time (I work for instance), others having pressing domestic problems and still others needing a lot of time to study to come to a basic level of understanding, you have as much chance of being selected in the final run as any of us.

my dear my office timing is form 8am to 4pm and then i go to academy for coaching classes of CSS form 4pm to 7pm daily,
CSS classes are delivered by CSP officers.
is there any suitable schedule for me plz.

I prepared this schedule by keeping in mind the normal daily routine of any person.. Even if you are doing Job i guess you can still spare some time in your duty hours for a compulsory subject and by the time you get free after your work and academy just start preparing your optional.. I have never been in academy for whole of my life so i don't know if it is adding something to your study routine or is it just for guidance.. Best of luck bro! :))

As we have of shortage of time and i think every mature student of 2014 will be more focused now that what is important and what is not!... So it is easy to study and find out the topics....Second thing is that, going through past papers can be good enough for better preparation...
