There is a chance of leniency. Most candidates failed to produce answers in pure Arabic, and instead used a blend of Urdu and Arabic. If examiners mark strictly, more than 90% will be unable to get through. That would be a disaster. This can happen only if the examiner is stone-hearted or there are express orders from the FPSC to not be lenient in this regard.

If most students fail to pass it...Then what will be its effects on overall written result....Lesser will pass ?

The effects will be twofold. Firstly, the total number of clearing candidates will be less (which is obvious).
But the bigger impact (in my opinion) will be felt on the final result. Everybody knows Arabic and Persian have always been the "trump cards" for final allocations because of their tendency to fetch scores in 150-180 range for hardworking candidates! Eliminating this would definitely change the shape of the final, ultimate results.

I am extremely confident that despite a few errors, I will pass the CSS exam. How can I say this with enough certainty? The fact is, I cannot, and there is a higher chance of me failing.
But I do not believe in giving half-arsed attempts for CSS knowing I would probably fail. I give it my all, and if that means I'd be devastated upon failure, so be it. Expectations do breed discouragement; but they also mean you believe in yourself.

Your self assessment wasn't very optimistic. What has changed in these last few days?

I suggest the same. If you don't succeed in CSS, go for USMLE, PLAB, AMC, NZREX or Middle East--going abroad and earning big bucks while learning and growing professionally is much better than PMS or FIA.

You revealed the real scheme of FPSC

I second Cogito Ergo Sum. It's CSS or job abroad in a good place if you are a professional.
