deken, agr css na hota to ap kya krty? ya jb ap ny css k lyi apply he ni kya ta to kya ta? chalo agr css ho b gya , so what? kya ap my sy ksi ko farishty ka drja mil jaiga? css officer ik grade 17 ka officer hota hy and bs. ya to simple kahen k ap logon feronyat mind k log ho ya fully corrupt ho.. q k agr koi b mulk ki khidmath k lyi css krna chata wo kbi b odas na hota.. is lyi k qom ki khidmat ik teacher bn k, ik lecturer bn k, doctor bn k ya kch b bn k ki ja skti hy.. but nahi.. hm log power, protocol and privalges k lyi mrty hen and thats the raeson failed candidates itny khafa hen. means ap log is lyi khafa ni ho k mulk o qom ki khidmat ka moka ni mla but is lyi k ap ko ayashyon ka moka ni mila..its really sad..

I don't agree. To live with some self-respect in this country, you have to be in the army, bureaucracy, politics or be very rich. If not, then it's a dog's life over here. Just be an ordinary person, see how you are treated by the police/officials/public etc and then be a big shot CSP and see how you get treated. Engineers, Doctors, Teachers, Lectureres/Professors etc can serve the country but they don't have any respect or voice, neither do they get their rightful prestige.

The day a common man/woman gets respect, is treated fairly, gets justice, sees good governance and democratic culture, feels safe and is given his/her rights in this society, 90% people will forget CSS and focus on many better things in the world.

I give you my own example, when I used to be in the UK, I would not think about CSS much, I felt safe and happy and focused on my engineering. But whenever I used to come to Pakistan for vacations, CSS used to take over my mind.

even if are earning 5 lakh per month in corporate sector , you are not even a minute creature infront of any AC in Pakistan

I see many members of this forum are pitiably obsessed with the CSS... get a life! Apply to the UN... become an International Civil Servant... Go to ISI or IB or FIA if you're vying for power... You people have, if i may say, somewhat exaggerated perceptions of the Central 'Superior' Services...
