6 hours??

Nice thread but in my point of view 6 hours of study is too much. CSS demands creativity, self-writing and originality, not cramming. You just have to work on your English skills. For evidence, go through the papers of Sociology and Journalism. Even a person who didn't read a single topic of these subjects could have attempted them. Just give a reading to all subjects and you can do it in the last 3 months. Having said that, there are subjects which demands cramming like EDS, you can study these kind of subjects daily for 20, 30 minutes.
I personally know people who were allocated to groups like DMG and PSP by studing in the last 20, 30 days. Proficiency in English and creativity is the key to success. Studying six hours daily for 365 days a year is purely a wastage of time and resources. This is CSS, not MBBS.

Improve your English in the first 6 months (read Dawn on a daily basis, mark down difficult words, and practice) and after that you can start studying further.

PS: I respect your schedule and it's a good effort from your side.

Regards,
Omar

Increasing your Vocabulary and GK through Newspaper

Increasing your Vocabulary and GK through Newspaper

Hello Aspirants

As Promised I am sharing useful tips to increase your Vocabulary and GK through Newspaper, if anybody missed last topic please read that firstly please. Everything is important from me and other members of this journey so atleast visit this thread once in a day to make sure you are not missing anything.

How to increase Vocabularly

Specially for increasing vocabularly You need to buy White Plain Cards or Small Diaries I have example of both i am uploading Pictures also so you will get idea of that.
While reading Newspaper you will find lot of Difficult words Jot it down on the card or Diary Page, find its meaning and write on the apposite side of the card or Diary Page. Write down at least 10 words a day. Take these cards or diary with you where ever you sit until you learn them by heart. Before sleeping make sentences of all these words to plaster them in your mind. Everyday Revise them and when you write short essays try to use them and make habit of it.
In this way you can learn 1500 words in 5 months and 3000 words in 10 months and 3600 words in 365 days and I can Envisage that you will become small dictionary in the End of the year because small dictionary.

Here are some of the examples

How to Increase GK

This is Really Very Easy you have to maintain separate 100 page journal for this, Make three sections of it

1) Personalities Section
2) Abbreviation Section
3) Dates Section

While reading if you read something about Interior Minister and you come to know that Interior minister is CH: Nisar write it down.
Similarly last APC held on 8th Sep 2013 copy this on your notebook.
Furthermore Abbreviations are also important so write that also in related section.

You can add more sections if you need and have something in mind.

Hope this will work for you. If you have any question feel free to ask.

Thanks Regards Colossal

I was getting Error 502 from 2 days for Cssforum.com.pk dont know why therefore cant update thread sorry for that.
Good job, brother colossal!
I am also with you in this journey, and like you I will also try to put my untiring efforts and dedication so as to attain the heights of real success. I'm quite trapped in a great deal of responsibilities wherefore I'm unable to allocate much time to the preparation of CSS exam; however, I'm rather interested in going trough this examination at least once in my life and that I want to do with good preparation. I'm pretty passionate about CSS!Actually, I was quite worried about the study plan. Few days back, I thought of a plan, but that seemed to me ineffective afterwards. But frankly speaking, your suggested plan is going to be viable, especially for beginners like me!
I believe that this study plan is quite lucrative for those who are not accustomed to studying a great deal of time. This will help them out, and as soon as they get the habit and stamina of studying for about 5 to 6 hours a day, they will be able to allocate more time to their studies!
I respect this very famous saying: "A journey of thousand miles begins with a single step!" and I respect your schedule, too! :clap
We owe you numberless thanks for this useful thread! :bow
We are with you, INSHA'ALLAH!
All the very best, dear! INSHA'ALLAH, ALLAH PAK will assist us!

Regards! :bow
Asif Bhae Thank you very much. I am not able to get such praise. Hope you will make your schedule according to your routine in which you will get out 6 hours of study to be succeeded in CSS-2015.
Work Hard and achieve your Goals.
