Discuss the causes both horizontal and vertical and also suggest measures to confront this menace of terrorism. 2. In the name of 'Arab Spring', the West seems to have contributed more fuss then respite. Discuss the statement in the backdrop of ISIS perceived threats towards instability of Arab world in particular. 3. The key of a permanent and enduring peace against 'War on Terror' lies more with Kabul and Islamabad than elsewhere. The United Nations is like a lion without teeth and nails. What measures do you suggest to make this world body more effective and impartial in future? Pakistan Affairs (by Salman Kazmi) 1. Write down in detail the evolution of Muslim society in the Subcontinent. 2. According to your own viewpoint, what were the main causes of the decline of Mughal Empire? 3. Write a comprehensive note on the chain of constitutional development in the Subcontinent that ended in 1947. 4. The social, traditional, cultural and religious invasions along with imposed rules by the British caused the locals to fight the War of Independence, 1857. Discuss. 5. The Muslim civilization was at its lowest ebb after the War of Independence. In this critical time, the Muslims were really suffering and it was impossible without the wisdom and farsightedness of Sir Syed Ahmed Khan that the Muslims regain the dignity and a respectable place in Subcontinent. Seems great, except for the Pak Affairs. History portion is briefly mentioned in syllabus, Isn't it?
