Failed by 3 marks in an optional. They even misspelled Criminology in the DMC sheet D:

A fail is a fail though, so no bickering about it. Strangely enough, it was the compulsory I had studied the most for (factual knowledge i.e).
I want to opt Gender studies. From which books/notes you prepared GS ?You good high marks in GS

I had a book from Amanullah Gondal. That was the only material I had. Read it only once. I think it took me ~2 days. As I said, the marks are unexpected. But I attempted the questions in a very structured and proper way. Also, I had prepared essay for Status of women in Pakistan which helped me in the paper. Other than that, I did nothing special.
One last but very important thing: I had strong grip over core concepts, like waves, theories etc, which proved to be of immense help.

No books. Went through the syllabus. Everything else was online - videos, wiki, feminist movements, etc. I had an interest in the topic for a few years too. So I had a few years of background with arguments to back my claims.

That is really good advice. One last thing. Can you define the structure of your answers? Did you analyse things side by side or did you give a critical evaluation at the end?
