I don't remember outlines now..... I wrote essay in historical perspective giving examples of different economies getting foreign aid.... and its consequences on those economies. Else I don't remember anything.

Default Foreign Aid essay
Guys to be honest i don't exactly remembered what my outline was. Frankly i don't even know what was so good about my essay that examiner passed me. Nevertheless somethings that i remember are
1) prologue
2) William howard taft dollar diplomacy
3) Foreign aid leads to bubble economy
4) some historical examples
5) effects on overall nation
6) conclusion

Like i said this is not the exact outline. Just some fragments i remember. Plus i had very less stats info.

I did it the same way but I was given 20 marks I explained it in terms of structural adjustments policies, Washington consensus and their impacts on recipient state stability.

my gist was: the intentions of donor and character of recipient matter whether aid will stabilise economy or not. I compared the impacts of marshall plan with the aid to Pakistan.
still I was given marks of an irrelevant essay. And I am sure my essay was above the head of the checker who perhaps was a degree holder in English.

That is the problem. No one knows the checking criteria. As i have heard, examiners just focus on outline and few lines of introduction to justify if a person knows english or not. I feel for you mate.

Passing rate of MA English in all universities is above 60% but those English checkers fail all from top to bottoms cream of the nation. Issue is this that Mafia control all results with English paper as fail all and just pass few. Then pass ur favorite one in English. He is sure select now.
