As I appeared in CE 2016, I used Gel Pen in Exams but I feel uncomfortable after 4 papers , in all next papers to much pain in hand . So I decided to use Fountain Pen like Parker Pen, and now using for preparation of CE 2017. I feel comfort with this.
So I suggest you use that Pen which comfort you in writing of 12 papers and almost all papers are consecutive.
I use Blue ink and marker of Black (without cut) color to make attractive the paper.
I think led pencil is not allowed in exam also not create a attractive pattern.
So
Blue Ink Pen with Black color marker is good in my opinion.

I second the opinion of Yousaf Shah. I met with Sonia Shamrooz Khan who is ASP Manshera nowadays and she recommended all of us to use Fountain Pen.

I will use Blue Marker and Blue Ink Pen.
