yes, any mistake while filling online application can be corrected on the hard copy and put your signatures over that correction too

following is what the rule 11(6) states:

Any correction in the printed hard copy of online form may be made by hand and
initialled before dispatch or submission to the Commission, whereafter no request for change in any
entry of online application or its hard copy shall be accepted

I didn't know of this correction rule, so I sent a written note with the form stating the error made. Please, can someone guide me what should I do or my application will be rejected?

I made the mistake of entering the wrong district.

"Important Note: Signed printout of this online application form along with all required documents must be despatched so as to reach FPSC HQs Islamabad within ten (10) days of your online application submission date. Otherwise your candidature will be rejected."
Above quoted statement is written on the top of application. What I understand of this is that your application should reach FPSC within 10 days of "YOUR" online application submission date. So, one should try to dispatch hardcopy as soon as possible after applying online.
