I have selected it as my favourite book too. The major reason being that the author has stated his opinion courageously regardless of his eminent position in India. He was later expelled from his party because of his differing opinions.

I think if you really like the book and find it meaningful, provided that you have a good knowledge of Pre-partition politics in India, its a good option.
