If someone is declared medically unfit, will his name appear in final merit list?

It depends upon the reason.If one is just overweight,the he or she will be allocated if on merit but will have to loose the extra weight within the time span given by the medical board

But what if someone is found with any serious problem? Like HIV, hepatitis etc?
