condition for height condition for height

salam,

what is exact condition for height in medical test ? My height is 5 feet and 1 inch. I have heard that height requirement for CSS is 5 feet and 2 inches. So i can't apply for it ?

The rules mention that:

In the case of female candidates, this standard will be reduced to 1473 millimetres for posts which are completely sedentary provided the weight of such candidates is not less than 43.5 kilograms.

I think if we calculate it, it comes to 4 feet and 9 inches. So i think that you can apply. do not worry and go ahead.

in what feilds , the hieght is reduced to 4.9? i mean for what groups, is this condition valid and for what , not!!

kindly can anybody explain that what are the posts which are called as sedentary; recommended for female aspirants that do not come upto the required height standards??????

then go to css rules and syllabus-2009.....it ll b all clear to you.
