Thanks a lot for ur kind concern sis. but i don't know my eye sight vision without glasses. how should i calculate it? is some type of test required for this purpose?
in the earlier months i felt a little squint in and i felt so that my left eye is unable to move fully to the right and left direction but after 3 months medication and exercise, now both the eyes look quite equal |

Maa'm, thanks alot for this social service. May ALLAH bless you for this consultancy. I got a ball struck on my left eye in 1997. Eventually, my left eye is squinted to the left as compared to the right one, during a span of one year. Along with double vision, it appears to me as if i am looking through a thin membrane, present inside my eye. But, with ALLAH' mercy right one is intact(6/6), to date. Due to weaker image from left i can focus better on the clear one produced by the right eye, that's why things kept working. I did my science post graduate carrying the above mentioned difficulty and now holding a very good position in govt sector. For job, I went through medical exam from NIH, islamabad, and got cleared as doctor didnt appear conscious about me. But about CSS i am not clear to which extent they are strict with people having squints and weak eye sight. Afterwards, i got examined by a well known specialst in isb by myself, and he wrote following on prescription: Viterous Syncresis, Fibrotic bands... .....illegible to me.... He says some layer inside is detached, through which us see. The vision identified by Opthalmologist is: L: SPH: 0.25, CYL: 1.75, Axis: 170 With glasses and right eye shut, I can reed upto the second last line of the check board installed by doctor, but with a blur vision. What do you say about my CSS eligibility? Kindly Comment. |

Yeah visual acuity test is required for cheking eyesight..You should consult Orthoptist(Specialist in assessment and treatment of squint),,Just special types of exercises sometimes gave very best result. Not a big problem,,But you dont ignor it.If You need my help ever,i am here,Can ask everytime. Vitreous syneresis(Floaters seen by patient in front of eye) and fibrotic Bands both occurs in vitreous(as a result of vitreous detachment). In such cases patient sometimes complaint of seeing something floating in front o affected eye.You have got trauma round about 15-16 years ago,Got squint because of striking eye muscle forcefully.Double vsion is actually because of one eye seeing one image and other eye because of squint can't cooperate with normal eye,so focus some other image,Brain cant fuse two different images, and result is double vision..Your vision with Glasses is very Best MashaALLAH,,Dnt worry,But keep on examinning eye after 3 months regularly. |

@ Mr Bhati
For CSS Vision required is 6/6..Your left eye vision with Glasses is 6/9,If you can read second last line,Which is very best dont worry there will be no problem inshaALLAH.This is ery good vision. But now dnt ignore your eye..keep your eye examination on regular basis, and you yourself reminds to Doctor to examine full eye (Especially Fundus). Best Luck |
