Medical Test Info.
Aslaam o Alaikum All...!
I've been an insulin dependent (type 1/juvenile) diabetic patient since i was 16.Now i'm 24 years old.I'm on life long insuline therapy which i will have to take 3 times a day.In 2012, I applied for disability certificate in social security center.Pakistan social security system follows American social security system. As insulin dependent diabetes was listed in American social security disability list.So i got my disability certificate (physical disability category) issued by district social security office which actually has authority of issuing such certificates. Now i wanna appear in CSS but I have read in the medical test section that they take urine test which can reveal my problem.I have also faced diabetic ketoacidosis twice which is a serious medical complication of diabetes.I have uncontrolled diabetes I also frequently faces Hypoglycemia(low sugar level) condition, dizziness, blurred vision etc. I wanna ask following: 1.Should i apply as disable candidate? Will they accept the certificate of disability and allow me to compete for quota specified in government recruitment policy. (It was specified in the ad that there is no specific quota for disable but the disable candidates who will pass will get the job according to Government recruitment policy which is 2%. OR 2.Should i apply as a normal candidate? In that case I have following queries: 1.Will they accept a diabetic candidate for civil services? If not: 2.Will they reject me totally or allow me to apply for specific fields? I request to all senior brothers and sisters who can me give even a smallest piece of info to reply . Please reply must & reply soon. |

Its sad to read about your agony. I think no one on forum has solution to your problem. I can only suggest you to mail your query to fpsc and also ask them by calling to fpsc helpline.
051111000248 fpsc@fpsc.gov.pk 0519205075 But sir Werewolf may answer your query as he is proactive nowadays. You can post your query on this thread to him. http://www.cssforum.com.pk/beginners...-werewolf.html Hope it will solve your problem.

.. it's really so sad sister.. i read your this post earlier, but i myself did not give you any reply, i was waiting for someone else, more experienced to come forward.. so far, mr. Khurram is right. owing to the nature of your problem, i don't think anyone on this forum can provide you accurate and soothing answer.. mr. Khurram's suggestion is better than to wait for the answers here. rather, i would suggest you to visit your nearest FPSC office for first hand information. they would resolve your query then and there. that is even better than calling them or posting them your query. i hope that would help. my prayers are with you siso.
