Default I attempted this question

i started this question with the introduction. then differentiated the meaning between lap dog and watch dog term. watch dog term is related to a type of organization which keeps strict watch on illegal activity of public as well as private organization. after that i explained it according to journalistic point of view(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Watchdog_journalism). having said this, I begun to explain the term lap dog. At that time I did not know the meaning of the term, yet I explained it correctly(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lapdog).
next, i wrote the watch dog role of TV channels like highlighting corruption scandals, showing hypocrisy of politicians etc.
finally, i wrote the lap dog role of media( a type of media which is loyal to one entity or another or submissive type of media) which favors one party over other.
In conclusion, I summarized the whole discussion and wrote some suggestions

Lapdog media is of friendly disposition, entertain and shelter the evils and wrong doings, biased media/lapdog media is the negative face of impartial media.

Now media in Pakistan has its freedom and now Pakistani media is very vibrant. The TV channels are now not under control of state. Since the last decade, more than 100 private TV channels have emerged which are totally independent and playing very important role for bringing positive changes in society. The GEO, EXPRESS, SAMAA, ARY, DUNYA, and CHANNEL5 and many more private channels are causing lot of positive trends in Pakistan. Now the people are more politically aware and democratic.
