Default difference between New and old syllabus-how to go about it

Hello,

Can anyone please shed some light on the difference between the old and the new syllabus? I hear a lot of people complaining about the introduction of some accounting terms like IAS, IFRS etc. If someone can please explain a bit about the new syllabus, that would be of great help to others.

Especially, with reference to the introduction of new terms and what books will cover the syllabus in entirety.

Kind regards,
