Dear All,
Happy Eid in advance

Thumbs up @ bilalhidayat

Fluent_20 has rightly suggested, bcz, while taking the paper of A.A-II, we ve to attempt only one question from this section.....moreover, we are only to be asked to calculate 'taxable income' of certain person rather than tax-liability for a period.....however, if u want to study in depth then also refer the book of 'Munawar Mirza (synopsis of income tax)....

wish u best of luck

Synopsis of Taxation is best book for taxation. This book is also recommended in ICMA and CA courses.

Thanks,
So that means everytime the question comes on tax, it will be "Taxable Income" rather than the whole calculation. That's great. Cheers

Tax question always asks for taxable income of "individual". SO u can leave CGT etc and theory type material.

I am confused here. Tax rates and slabs have recently changed in Pakistan. In the 2011 paper what rates/laws etc are we required to use/apply? the one in the books (which are obviously outdated) or the latest ones (as per Federal Budget 2010-11)?
