Pathetic scores in CE 2010
Accounting and auditing remained lowest scoring subject in CE2010,in spite of the fact that paper was not as tough. One of my friend just scored 51 marks (30+21) in both papers. He says that he attempted the whole paper and expected at least 140.Average performance also remained very low.Can any body tell that what was the reason behind it? What should be done to prevent such dreadful results in future?

I am also worried about my doleful result.
I have been awarded 37 marks in Journalism after attempting 18 mcq correctly out of 20 and four subjective answers completely. I was expecting atleast 55 in case of rigorous marks deducting. I was given 37 marks only. Similarly, Public add was my subject in BS and had studied it a lot and opted it for CSS. I was astonished to see my PA`s score (34). Furthermore, I have been granted 25 marks in Geo I after attempting 3 questions very well. In the INDO pak I have been granted 38 marks in both papers though paper II went superbly. CONCLUSION The examiners have awarded marks while taking naps

@aariz Boss apki to Fpsc main koi dushmani lagti.
I got 140 marks in accounting in 2009 and the result of you people is terrifying. And never ever go for journalism as everyone go for it this makes the examiner to check paper strictly. Just few of the students go beyond 60 in jounalism.though I got 67.But this time i am not opting it.Same is the case with Muslim Law.Everyone opt it and this subject though easy and looks scoring but it requires very good attempt to reach about 70 marks.

Chaps! what one needs to do?
Chaps! if someone has solved all questions in Accounting and Auditing paper, and all his answers are correct, and he has also followed IAS rules and general practice being followed in Pakistan, as taught at B.com and M.B.A level in Universities, still he is awarded ridiculously low marks. Than what could be the possible reason? except that there is some thing terribly wrong with paper checking process. Last year, i read a post by RAZ, in which he had pointed out low score in accounting, and i thought that may be he had bad luck. But this year i scored only 73 marks. Despite of the fact that my answers were correct. There is no way possible, that i scored so low. I was expecting minimum 130. I dont know what had happened. CE2011 is approaching soon. I have again opted for this subject, but do not know what will happen this time?

possible reasons for pathetic scores in accounting and auditing 2010
Dear:
Possible reasons for pathetic scores in accounting and auditing are: 1) Lack of Confidence while attempting the paper, even if preparations were excellent. 2) Want of Present Mindedness while attempting the paper, even if preparations were excellent. 3) Failure to take sufficient sleep before exam. 4) Failure to read and understand the Questions asked in the paper. 5) Irrelevant facts might be given as answer resulting in wasting of time. 6) Flawed logic might be a major problem. Explained as follows: Sometimes we think that whatever we know about the subject at hand is correct and all to know about, but in reality we might be wrong and there is always room for improvement. 7) Just excellent preparation is not sufficient for passing the exam. As Muslims, we should pray to Allah for good happenings. Also we should start every Good activity in the name of Allah. |

I think sometime luck plays for a person. In 2008 I opted for pol science and as some of our friends saying abt MCQs, my 39 MCQz were correct out of 40, but my score was just 102 and this paper was the main reason that i couldnt succeed to get allocation. Now This year I can surely say that my pol scince paper wasnt best like that of 2008 but still i got 137 marks. so I think there is an element of luck invlved here, one I qualified but marks were low so no allocation, now marks are good that is 655 without essay but essay fail with 29. So I think one must prepare a particular subject, ignore the high/low scoring trend and go for that subject. If luck favour u that subject will score for u.
