In order to have a complete grip over the topic,you may also study provisions of the companies ordinance,1984 relating to the revaluation of fixed assets.Accountants of Pakistani companies must have knowledge of these provisions so that they may prepare F/stats in accordance with the law.

Which topics or sections of Companies ordinance are related to our study.
Kindly can you mention those?

Sections 230-247 of the Co.Ord.1984 relate to the preparation of f/stats but the section 235 deals with the revaluation.

Following is the link for the co.ord.1984 for your convenience.

@Xavier

@Xavier-Brother have you ever gone through the syllabus of the CSS? Do you know grouping of the subjects of CSS? There are some groups into which all of the subjects of the CSS are divided. From each group you may opt subjects not exceeding total marks of 200. But you have opted Accountancy and Public Admin which both of them fall under one group and which carry 300 marks. It is not allowed. You ll have to reconsider your subjects.

Ok dear but you yourselves can refer to the syllabus for confirmation. I am an ACMA finalist and i could opt as many subjects from the business side,including public ad, as are included in the syllabus. But due to the restriction imposed by the grouping i did not opt public and business ad.

Nevertheless you may get it confirmed.
