Taxation rates in Accounting paper
Salam.I want to know that whether taxation rates are provided in the examination hall or not.If we are asked to calculate the tax as has been the case in some of the past papers,are the rates provided or not. how do they expect the students to remember the rates with regards to income from propert n salary.Any body please help me

I have been told that we had to calculate the taxable income and not tax liability. In case we are told to calculate the latter then might be possible we would be provided rates. However, it is better to remember the rates of current FY.

Tax rates are not given in the exam. You have to memorise them.

During my experience in Bcom icma and CSS I observed that sometimes tax rates are given and some times not. So try to memorise.
