Default hi

In 3rd section you need Data base concepts.....

There is a book by thomas canolly and carolyn beg about DBMS.

Topics

E-r (Entity Relationship Diagrams) ERDs
SQL (what is SQL?)
- you need to know the basic scripts to get the tables / views etc e.g. INSERT, UPDATE statements, writing procedures, TRIGGERS
What are Normalized Data bases (Normalization / De-normalizatins)
JOINS, like left outer join , inner join etc.

and yea regarding web programmming you need to know about the concepts of

1. Java Script refer to (www.w3schools.org)
2. perl (cgi)
3. HTML and CSS tags

and last but not the least an overall concept of computer graphics (findamentals)
like what exactly computer graphics are: if you would like to draw a circle or a polygon how would you do it?

these all concepts are needed to be addressed.

I can help you regrding those concepts if you have any specific questions do let me know.

We just hade basic courses of computer science and then other engineering subjects. Therefore i am having such problems in this section. please tell me about some notes if available for this section. no prob! You are welcome... actually i need help in section 1 in Computer Architecture section particularly.

Well there are no notes for Sec 3 but I think if you check www.html.net you can get a gist of HTML.

www.javalessons.com here you can have an understanding of applets.

for java script go to www.w3schools.org

these will give you basics about web programming and other graphics concepts hopefully. Actually the course of CS is pretty huge but I think staying with basic concepts would suffice for a while.

How much have you prepared for Sec 1 and 2 ? Sec 2 are you doing cpp practice?

rgds-.

@Janas
Actually i did'nt have to give much of the time to section 1 and 2... because i am a lecturer in computer engineering i have taught some of these subjects to my students. so i am sure these will not take much of my time. Al though approach of css syllabus is much theoretical rather than practical but lets see what happens... if you are having any problems in computer architecture, computer networks, programming etc you can openly discuss with me. it will be my pleasure... Regards...

Default thank you

Jibran thanks for your help, actually i need help in Computer Architecture and Data Structure. I know a bit about programming in C plus plus but the concepts such as pointers and references, recursion, inner functions, Hashing; Trees and complicated form of Stack, Linked List, COmplexity of Algorithms do puzzle me.
Thats why I would like to get in touch with you so that we could cover and have discussion over these concepts.

Moreover, I know you need help in Sec 3, well especially in Web Programming and Computer Graphics. I will prepare for the concepts like CGI, Java Script, HTML and PERL, also bit of graphics!
