There r viable opportunities of trade with india that can in its wake bring prosperity and progress to the nation of both coutries .the following r the areas of trade between the two countries.

1.India has expertise in the field of heavy machinery and chemicals .
2.pharmaceuticals. medicines in india r significantly cheaper than in pakistan .that can serve the interest of poor masses in pakistan.
3.current visit by foreign secretary in which he was asked by india to present a list of 21 items that can be exported to india .
4.pakistan marked the beginning of export with cement pakistan has dropped exporting wheat to india given the price hike at home .


factors hampering trade between the two countries ;

1. poor infrastructure in both countries ,the link connecting pakistan and india is hardly usable for trucks.
2. issue of kashmir which has put the relation between the two in volatile situation.

sorry to say faria but this issue is only created by our and their Generals for themselves. if this issue is solved then on what basis these army men will grabe alot of peoples income.
both the armies have got very bad reputation over there, since i have visited azad kashier, people hate them alot coz of the issue related to Earthqakc 2005, in which army has done very bad with them and still doing very bad.

so this issue is only for army not for people, its self created
