Default Need help about Micro Economics

as this subject(economis) is new for me...
i want to ask
how to prepare microeconomics ?
i bought k modern economic theory by k.k dewett but i cudnt find this section in it properly...help required

eshal, are you opting Economics as optional for CSS? What about your background in this subject? If you're quite alien to this subject, then drop it if you're opting it as an optional for CSS. I haven't read KK Devitt but I can recommend you some other books which will not be self-explanatory, rather you have to study it under someone's tutelage.

i ll recommend modern microeconomics by A. Koutsoyiannis.section A in this book is enough to cover microeconomics portion in the syllabus.

kk dewett isnt a standard book for economics..
n if u dont have a background of subject koutsoyianis may not be a good start..
check lipsey n chrystal/mankiw/mc connel n brue..these ones are easier..

PS: a suggestion..if u dont have background of economics dont go for the subject..i dont intend to discourage u but thats my opinion..

actually i m becoming a pharmacist....
i ve no background for economics...but i cudnt find anyother subject to opt what to do...??
help me in this regard

Drop economics because it will not be a piece of cake for you as you don't have even rudimentary knowledge of it! Just go for some purely theoretical subject like take any history

u can opt geography/public ad/IR etc or any other subject..ask the seniors,they may help you!
