Default Should i opt economics? Infact, a very important question.

I did my master in economics in 2009, currently i am doing job in police department as assistant.
As job in lower scale is a best way to have a insulted life, i want to go for CSS.
According to my research which actually based on opinion of CSS passed and failed candidates, economics is not a good optional subject being lower scoring subject.
Now my humble request is that please guide me, should i opt economics or not?

Economics is considered as low scoring subject. Many of candidates who has masters in economics or even many with M.Phill in economics avoid to opt it.
So in my opinion you should not go for economics.
Anyhow if you think that you are too good in micro and macro economics then you can go for it, remembering that it is not a high scoring subject.
