Smile Choose Economics or Not

I've done BSc in Economics, got over with exams just now. I've seen people posting on this site that economics shouldn't be selected as it's not a 'scoring' subject. Is it true?

Also, I'm thinking to either choose geography or economics. The last time I studied geography was in O Levels so I think I know more of economics relatively.

Any advice, please?

Dear i would suggest you to opt economics. It is much beneficial in c.a p.a and in essay especially you have to decorate each social issue in the light of economics. As far as the dictum of scoring or not scoring is concerned if one scores 60+ in three optionals i think its easy for him to go through. So all the subjects dont bear you 80 plus. Be brave ang go for it.

Economics graduate should go for Economics as an optional subject because all basic and general concepts of economics are clear to you, you just have to go through the slaybus once to get the proper notes and jot down important points and study current economical situation/position of the world economy as per slaybus.

While people consider it deadly and most of the times, it is proven a deadly subject.

All the success!

Dear its a misperception that Economics is not scoring. In CE-2012 I scored 150 in Economics- 74 in paper A and 76 in paper B.
Its all about how you tackle the paper. It needs analytical understanding of the problems asked by the examiner. But if you want to go for Geography its also a good subject depends upon you which subject you can do justice with.

Default economics is risky

i will suggest not to opt economics. although i opted it thrice. but it is a risky subject. in short, with economics---no csp, and without economics there are numbers of csp. so don't put your chance at stake.
