Default I.R book dilemma.

Hello guys,

I will come right to the point. I bought Ikram Rabbani book for I.R. It is totally not worth it completely unprofessionally written. Then i went for Parkash Chander which is way too vague, not in compliance with the css syllabus either. Totally disappointed now! What should i do now?

Default IR Book/Material

If you find Ikram Rabbani's book useless then don't go for any other book published by local publishers. You won't find a quality book which would cover the entire syllabus. You have to manage & prepare different topics from different sources. Following are some quality sources:

1- Globalization of World Politics
2- World Politics (T&T)
3- I.R by Jousha Goldstein

4- 'IR for CSS' video lecture series by ME. Yes!

You can't find a single book complying 100% of the syallabus. Study on a research based pattern. You have to find each topic separately according your need. I am suggesting three books, you may go in this given order to cope with most of the concepts and theoretical grounds.

1. International Relations by Joshua and Pavehouse. 2014 update

2. Understanding International Relations.

3. International Key concepts.

You quest may end then. All these books are easily available onkine in PDF.

Thank you!
Remember in prayers.
