Default I.R Preparation

AOA to all my fellow css aspirants. I am having some trouble choosing which book I should use to prepare for I.R exams. I would like to ask the seniors about the book by Hans Morgenthau. My question is that is it enough to prepare the theoratical part of the subject from Prof.Morgenthau's book? Seniors are requested to share their experiences. Thankyou

For I.R sarfarz Akhund " Socio/Economic and political international relations" is good and concise book.

2. For deep study International Affairs by Dr.Safdar Mehmood.

Keep in mind Current Affairs is very necessary for I.R.

Thumbs up I.r

Dear for Theory, without any doubts PARKASH CHANDAR is vastly hailed more over there is another book by Kamran Shahid
Yet covering i.r would be a job you would accomplish with more than one book of theoratical prospective you might need a book like "major powers Threats and mutual security" etc Morganthau is nodoubt a book full of worthy knowledge. yet i would take it as a "hard pill" for some one who is not too familiar with I.R
PLease go through the thread
