Absiya in other words is " cohesiveness" or " solidarity" among group of people. Absiya according to Khaldoon was stronger among rural society or Bedounis when compared to the people who lived in Urban areas.

Absiya was stronger among rural societies because they're dependent on one another to satisfy their needs. In other words they were more emotionally attached with one another.

Absiya was weaker among people who lived in city because they indulged themselves in pleasure. They cared more about themselves then others, after all they could buy anything they want, through money. In other words they became selfish

People who lived in rural had strong abysia/unity so they attacked urabn centres and conquered people who had weak abysia or unity

However , with the passage of time , people with strong abysia lost their strength as they started to live in city and became ease loving , hence they were again conquered by people who had comparatively strong abysia.

This theory was used by Khaldoon to portray the rise and fall of nations

Al-Asabiya is a force of actions with join people together on the base on similarity. According to Ibn-i-Khaldoon Asabiya( solidarity) is strong in religious people. Asabiya is also strong in nomadic tribes because they depend on each other in order to satisfy their needs in this way they are always ready to confront with external powers.

When people move towards luxury , Asabiya will be weekend. Through the spirit of Abaiya people join to form tribes which leads to country or states. Asabiya can be described as the force of relationship.
