Sallam! What are those philosopher out of Western philosophy on whom are questions set time and again? How many of them, as there are about 15 thinkers or something like that,should we prepare..???

For Western Political Thought, these are important areas:
Plato and Aristotle comparison
Hobbes and Locke on Social Contract
Rousseau's general Will
Karl Marx's Dialectical materialism, Socialist Revolution..


No need to prepare Bentham, Mill, and Mao as mentioned in Syllabus.

Books: Political Thought by Judd Harmoon, History of Political Thought by George H. Sabine.

Dear i should leave out the rest of the philosophers, and what about muslim political thought??
