Books which helpful in syllabus of CSS are

halliday, resnick & krane ....

mechanics(m.h mussadiq) ......

waves & oscillations( m aslam chaudary ) ....

a series of barkley is also fruitful for basic concepts of physics.
Sir what about the book by Muahmmad Aslam Chaudhary, please.

Default Physics Books for CSS

Well, physics is interesting subject for those whose have physics background. You can get high score by putting your effort in this field.
As you have physics subject then you must be familiar with H.R.K book. This book cover overall areas, well, if you not find satisfaction with this book, you can also use other online books or other author book available in the market. but I recommend H.R.K.
All the best for you.

Default Some help with the book

Dear all, i have been going through the threads extensively in order to choose the subjects for appearing in css papers. i have chosen to put faith in physics but i find myself in a state of confusion. i know css is very much about hard work and i might not sound serious when i say that "Fundamentals of Physics by H.R.K" is a hefty book. i downloaded it, it has 44 chapters in it and that has put me in a dilemma. 44 chapters are two much i mean. Getting to the point i will be grateful if somebody can point me in the right direction with this. Are all those chapters are to be covered ? How much detail and how much time shoul i give to this subject ? i have chosen physics on the grounds that i m an engineer and have had 2 physics courses back in uni. and had A in both 0 and A levels physics. it will be very kind of you all to help me with this. thank you all and looking forward to your opinions.

Well, you don't have to cover all 44 chapters but atleast 30 should be done. Dear it's CSS and 44 chapters are just a joke when you compare it with other subjects where people have to prepare 4-5 books. So long story short, nothing is too much in CSS

Bro it depends on you, whether you want to do selective study or complete. It also depends on how much time you can spare and how good you are in Physics. Selective study is always risky as no-one can predict precisely. On the contrary complete study can involve consulting 2-3 books and making your own notes.
