Default No

Statistics is not every ones cup of tea, at this stage where exams are so close, dont take any risk. If you wana chosse it you have to practice it atleast 8 month and a good teacher is must for its preparation.

Default understand your strength

Statistics is a scoring subject but it needs more time, for this exam time is short. But if you are very good in statics than you can go for it. Paper will be of post graduate level. I am also an m.b.a but m.ba and b.com statistics is nothing as compared to requires for css.

Yes b.s.c books should be studied, you have to prepare topics in the salubus now it is up to you from where you prepare them.

Statistics is a scoring subject but one must go through 2009 paper pattern, which was totally different from 2001 to 2008..... Though i optd stats in 2009 keeping in view the previous papers, my score is 61 which is because FPSC has changed the pattern... so if anyone opting stats , be careful!!!

Default pls guide

Hi there

I have gone through your discussions. At this time i am in a similar situation stage that fari 1 was than in dec 2009.
I wanna opt for statistics, i have an engineering background and had studied a subject for stats in early semesters of my degree, at that time it seemed interesting to me.

Please guide me should i go for stats or not?
Have you opted it or not, share your own experience?
Please note that i wanna appear in 2012.

I Look forward for your reply

Regards

Moqeet
