What is meant by Governance in terms of Public administration?

where the current govt stands as for as good governance is concerned.

in public sector it means to utilize the available resources effectively for the uplift of the public. and good governance is the term used for an ideal state of dealing with the rules and ethics of the business here public administration ... in pakistan it is no where to be seen .. one who wants to work fairly is either stripped off the scene or demoted .. leg pulling and favorism is the major cause of failure of good governance

Well I am unable to tell you the definition in terms of the subject of Public Administration but I can tell you something general as a student of Political Science which might help you better understand the concept. A nation-state is formed on the basis of some ideals, usually those ideals are set forth in rigid (written, clearly described) or conventional form (eg. Magna Carta) as vision of the founding fathers of the nation-state. Those ideals are meant to govern the aspects of societal life as well as objective of the nation which will be formed under the state. Good governance means those ideals are fairly implemented and bad governance means those ideals are not fairly implemented by the state . For example when the nation of United States was being formed, the founding fathers like George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison etc clearly laid out the ideals in documents like the US Constitution, The Bill of Rights etc and the state of the United States later on implemented those ideals; now if the US state (state includes all branches of state, i.e. Executive, Legislative and Judicial) is able to successfully implement the ideals with none or few accounted violations, they have set an example of good governance but if they have failed to do so that would be an example of bad governance. Simple as that .

In Good Governance, You have to give the definition & Components of G.G !
Then visualize Pakistan in that context e.g. Accountability,Fairness, Policies, Resources etc etc.
The boat of current government in sinking into the deep sea of 'bad governance'.In every sector you can view their progress.
Corruption, acting like a ghost and eating up all the resources secretly but intensely!
And in the End Never Forget to give suitable recommendations
