Hi ,

Plz seniors recommend me a comprehensive book on the Mughal Empire by local or foreign author covering various aspects of the whole empire.

In addition to above books, if you want to have an in-depth study that see books by Maj Akram Awan, he wrote around 5 volumes on indian history, out of which one volume is for greater mughals and another on lesser mughals. i wont recommend you to purchase it, but you may find them in any good library.

salam,
You should find ' A Short History of Pakistan' by I.H Qureshi; its third part is on Mughal Period; it covers all topics related to Mughal History, also study K Ali for quotations.
