Indo pak has again become a scoring.In 2010 i was able to score 98 total in both papers but this year with a better preparation i scored 63 and 74. falling in total 137

in many posts new aspirants have asked abour Books & Techniques from those who have secured very good marks but nobody has paid heed to this thing kindly tell about books and method of prepration

Thanx.Bro i simply prepared from K.Ali's and Azmat farooq's book along with notes available on indo.pak history thread on css forum. Indo pak history is lengthy subject by syllabus so it becomes difficult to grasp all of the topics and sometime we also find it difficult to choose appropriate topics to prepare. for example from 712 to Ghaznvi we have to keep focus on few of the aspects like "Impacts of Muhammad and Ghaznvi's expeditions on the the history of subcontinent" similarly causes,motives and consequences of these expeditions.Similarly Administration, either central or provincial under Dehli or mughal sultante, is also a topic which covers almost every aspect from individual personalities of rulers to reforms which took place time to time..
while attempting paper of indo.pak history we should keep in mind that checker always like elaboration and accuracy along with proper quotation,references and sometime maps if required.Keep it in mind answer of a question in indo.pak, carrying proper background and later on development covered in proper headings and subheadings following the critical analysis always reward you well..Like in 2012 there was question about the sufia silsla first when to attempt this question according to me i will start it from the emergence of islam later on the account of four main silslas and there prominent personalities.In the middle of answer of i will add the social,economic and religious impacts of these salasal on society.In the end i will produce critical analysis of the discussion which i drawn on back pages.
One of the reasons of good score in indo.pak in 2012 is change in scoring trend but i will say interest in a subject helps you to prepare it well and later on good score.

for Paper II: Struggle for Pakistan by I.H Qureshi, this is enough for Pak Affairs as well.....

I am planning to appear in CSS exams in in 2015. Do you think that by 2015 Indo-Pak history will continue to remain a scoring subject by looking at past paper patterns as I am starting my preparation now?
