Default Best book 4 islamic -his. part-2

Respected members plz tell me the best book islamic history book for part 2. presently i am following K.Ali book but after reading previous papers, i felt that this book is not enough specially for part 2. Now plz you all suggest me one best book for part 2 .
plz reply a bit early as i have left very less time for preparation.

Since you asked the question in 2009 and its 2011 now, em sure you are no longer in a dire need of an answer yet for those who still need to know about a good book that could cover paper 2 properly, I would personally suggest A SHORT HISTORY OF MUSLIM SPAIN by Mazhar ul Haq... Wish u guys the best of luck...

i am preparing from A Short history of the Saracens by Ameer Ali...this that book sufficient?

Mazhar ul Haq book is the best.

Well the book by ameer ali is not as comprehensive as Mazhar ul haq's.. Plus I personally found Ameer ali's book to be biased towards the ummayad caliphate (since ameer ali happens to be a shia). Yet personal preferences are always there, if U think you could do better with ameer ali, go for it but I would personally rate mazhar ul haq's book way above...
