I have academy notes of Islamic history but i hear that one should prepare his own notes to pass the exam..any pointers in this regard?

It's not compulsory that you should prepare your own notes of any subject but the main point is that material should be satisfactory whether that it'z from academy notes or your own hand made !!!

I would always advise to make your own notes .. Academy notes are for all and cannot take you to the level of understanding where reading of original texts will take you to .. CSS is a competition and you must stand out .. The most effective way of doing so is the in-depth study .. However, you can always take the aid of notes along with study of books to make your own notes ..
