Default @Last Island : Aspiring for opting literature

Dear Madam

I am going to ask you something that by now should have begun to give you sufficient cause to bang the questioner'a head.
My masters in English Literature at PU is going to end in June. I have to begin my preparation, from the barest, from then onwards i.e. all the info about current affairs, etc etc and also the ritualized worry of asking people about the selection of subjects is going to begin.
I have a passionate interest in literature. But I have no idea of the marks that this notoriously ill-scoring subject rewards you with. I have the basic knowledge ofcourse. I have been reading a lot and a lot of Victorian (unabriidged, mind you ) novels. And ofcourse, love to read Romantic poetry. Fortunately the syllabus is limited and very high-browed. I think, they got George Eliot mistakenly, thinking that she too was a male. lol!!!
Please guide me. My heart lurches all day: to do or not to do/That is the question!

Regards
