Default Problem of out of syllabus questions in urdu

Slam
While preparing past papers of urdu I came to know that examiner have given many questions which are not included in css syllabus. What is solution of this problem whether to prepare extra material or just focus on the syllabus and at the end day lament on examiner's policy. e.g in Paper A of 2009 aspirants were asked to write note on
Hafiz Mehmood Sherani ke lisani tehqiqaat
Jamila Hashmi Ka Novel '' Dasht-e-sos''
Dr. Wazir aagha ke nazm nigari
Ashfaq Ahmed as afsan nigar.
This is the one case on a single paper and there are many such examples.
What should be done

Hmm you are right, that's very irritating.Such questions are included to make paper tough so that one may not score the best(I guess)If you decided to opt Urdu, you must have grip over it;yani k you should have read alot of literature. It is the only solution.Besides prepare "Urdu adab ki mukhtasir tareen tareekh" by Dr.Saleem Akhter,it covers such type of questions which are not directly asked from syllabus.
Good Luck.

us ka mein ne aik tareeqa nikala tha.past papers dekhen tou ap ko andaza ho jaye ga k unho ne category k mutabiq sawal diye hue hain. For example her saal ksii Critic pe note zaroor ata hai, critics mein Dr.Wazeer Agha,Jameel Jalibi etc shamil hain.ye ziada nae hain.ap past papers dekh k sab critics k naam note ker len,phr us ko prepare kren.isi tarah Imp.writers ki writings ka pata hona chahye.famous novel nigaar ki category bana len aik.us mein saray baray naam aa jayen gy jesa k Abdullah Hussain ki novel nigaari.Isi tarah Afsana nigaaron ki category bana lain.
1)critics
2)famous novel nigaar
3)famous afsana nigaar
4)famous poets

I didn't appear in PMS yet,it will be my 1st attempt in September Insha Allah.wese I have appeared in Css.That was not my best attempt as I prepared Urdu in 3,4 holidays during exam.In C.E 2012 I will prepare Urdu in a proper way Insha Allah.Syllabus of Pms is almost same as Css,you need not to worry

yes its very good approach. in fact in every paper there are always a few things which are not included in the syllabus. the only way to get rid of such situations is to expand your vision and go beyond syllabus. for urdu specially such things can only be covered by advance studies. i read here at forum long ago that those who are preparing for css must read the "guide for m.a(part1-2) urdu" it may help. but that problem will persist as farrah said they don't want us to score high in the paper
good luck

I am also going to add this subject in my catalog but due to unfavored circumstances I can't prepare out of course questions in this way so can you share your notes or at least the name of the persons about those you are going to prepare and please also add 3 to 4 four lines about their work .

I don't have any notes because (I have told many times on forum) I prepared Urdu during exam holidays.

When I will start preparation,I will post important questions here.

Good Luck.
