Default Regarding the length of answer:
plz seniors guide me as i m a bit tense regarding the answer length.
how much one should write in order to gain good marks.. for example, on WHAT IS METAMORPHOSIS? DESCRIBE IT WITH REGARD TO INSECTS...

I ANSWER IT AS FOLLOWING HEADINGS:
1. DEFINITION OF METAMORPHOSIS(2 TO 3 LINES)
2. TYPES OF METAMORPHOSIS IN INSECTS:
a)AMETABOLOUS (4 LINES, 1 EXAMPLE)
b)HEMIMETABOLOUS (4 LINES, 1 EXAMPLE)
c)HOLOMETABOLOUS (8 LINES, 2 EXAMPLES)
d)PAUROMETABOLOUS (4 LINES, 1 EXAMPLE)...
UR RESPONSE CAN SOLACE MY TENSION...

zoology is a science subject. one must use all material one has regarding a question. in a science subject,length usually does not matter if you cover all aspects according to question. to be on a safer side,5-6 pages minimum must be written with diagrams to score high. maximum number of pages can be used if one knows answer very well keeping in view time factor in exam.
note: by one page it means at least 12-14 lines with 8-10 words per line.

In scientific subjects, there is no need to drag things and include irrelevant material in your answers.

If question is about A, B and C. Answer about A, B and C only.

sir! if there is no mention of diagram in a question statement, is it necessary to draw then for scoring high?
AND SIR! WHAT IS THE HIGHEST SCORE IN ZOOLOGY U HAVE EVER HEARD?

if you think a question demands diagram,then draw it even if not mentioned.
but keep in view time factor as well.
i don't know much about zoology whether it demands diagrams or not in questions. but it is always good if one can roughly sketch correct diagram just to elaborate things if required.

i have prepared zoology paper1, felt very easy with it but i m not sure about its scoring trend. hope it shall give me good marks.
