can anyone please tell me what are the points to cover in these questions?
"The Subject of Recognition is one of the most difficult branches of international law, not merely from the points of view of exposition of principles, but also intrinsically by reason of many difficulties which arise in practice." Discuss (2011)
What are the rules that govern the issues that arise out of a state ceasing to exist? (2015)

For the first question, start with briefly explaining the concept of recognition, and quickly move on to the state practices. You have to be well equipped with the practical implications and conflicts that arise due to different state practices. such as, what are the repercussions of the failure to recognize a state or government. A hint to border disputes, visa issues inter alia can be given in the context of recognition of LoC or Palestine.

As far as the second question is concerned, succession to rights and duties is required to be discussed. For example debt liabilities, status of treaties, the need to be recognized by other states etc.
