Why Int Law does not get much attention of the members?
It is extremely desperate that i have observed, International Law being very hot subject of most of the candidates, don not have any active forum. Rarely people share ideas in its threads. If someone asks related to it, very few are the replies or sometimes no one replies.
There are other subjects which are always guided by the seniors but international law remains away from their attention..... Is their any reason behind it or i.law is too poor to have worth discussion or guidance. I know in past, Few seniors contributed in it but i find less material about it and objectives are also less compared with other optionals.... I feel disappointed as its one of my very favourite subject...I need you to please comment on it.... Regards |

One of the reason that I feel for it is that most of the people opt for the IR and once you opt for IR, you cant opt I. Law. may be that is the reason that very few people go for it.

i think many people r now opting for int law,....its very interesting, simple and scoring too...however a focussed approach is required to handle the subject, also we should be able to handle the current international issues according to the articles of i,law,,,as the papers of all the subjects r been given according to the current scenario,,,basic application and understanding of law is necessary,,eg solution to international disputes, extradition, human rights, recognition , nationality etc,,,study of a standard book is a must

infact there are certain misperceptions about international law.,,,students think that they would have to learn many cases dealt by international court of justice..infact we have to learn only the decision statements and that of only very famous few cases,,,,moreover we dont have to learn constitutions of any country,,,,i had a gr8 experience as far as international law is concerned,, i strongly recommend this subject

Apart from the Islamic subjects, the only subject that i love is the int.law. The People who do not opt for this subject, lose alot. Infact ,to choose i.r over i.l is a negligence of css aspirants.

I am following Agarwal's version of Internal Law but find it extremely boring.
First, it is not objectively written and some times it escapes the important details. Secondly, it does not follow a theme or a sequence but a sporadic collection of information and most of the time the complete paragraphs are useless... I would appreciate if somebody suggests a better version. I have studied a local text bok for I.L which i found more appropriate but couldn't link the definitions with practical instances as required in the papers. |

making ur own notes is inevitable in ilaw,,,study the topic, mark the imp points, definations, aspects, cases etc,it would really help u to manage the subject especially in the end when people do panic due to dis organized material, i studied LN tondon book
