omission is used when some laws or section from different codes of law are omitted/removed and commission is use for committing doing of certain acts like committing and offence

Ok , got it, actually was getting insight of this sentence, 'police interrogation is a process of questioning a person/suspect with a view to collect all information of evidential value regarding commission of offense done by him.'

Commit: To act/do/attempt something which is often forbidden/prohibited by the law. Often used in negative sense e.g. commit suicide, commit blunder, commit mistake etc.

Urdu: esa kuch kar dena jo na karna chahye tha

Omit: Not to act/do/attempt/include which is often desired/required by the law. Skipping something which ought not be skipped.

Urdu: esa kuch bhool jana/chor jana/ignore kar jana jo ignore nhi karna chahe tha, jo karna ya shumar karna bahtar tha.

Both the commission and omission come under the sphere of violation in law because both are deliberate/intentional moves.
