Default CSS 2016 aspirants

All the aspirants of CSS 2016 who are opting mercantile law, please report here. Let's discuss the new changes in the syllabus and from where we have to study the new acts and case laws. Kindly recommend me some books. Now, I am confused whether to opt mercantile law or not.

M.law is very scoring subject if you have previously studied it, khalid chema book is very easy to understand but for case law use any indian author book.

Default @ayesha mehreen

Yes, I have studied it. I have Khalid Cheema's book and I have almost done all the topics from that book but from where we will study the new topics which are included in the revised syllabus. The following topics are added to the syllabus of mercantile law: Competition Act 2010, Electronic Transaction Ordinance 2002, Consumer's Protection Act, Electronic Fund Transfer Act, 2007. Please recommend me any book or any web link from where I can study these topics. Moreover, can you suggest an Indian book for the case laws?

M.Law is not scoring always. It had been my subject. I myself got 49 marks in 2011 but later I replaced it. I know so many candidates such as my friends who kept this subject unchanged throughout their attempts but they could not avail good marks. My friend, who did 15 correct MCQs in Ots objective paper, got only 7 marks in 2013's overall paper. Many candidates failed in this paper in 2013.
It is risky subject. You cannot trust risky subjects unless you are master in it. However, it's all your choice.

Remember! Easy subjects do not always fetch you a good marks. These are subjected to the trend of marking policy made by FPSC.

@adeel ahmed:

Yes bro, you are right, but still if I am going for some new subject, it is better to study mercantile law as I have already covered many topics. Rest, I think luck also counts in css. Lets see!

@abdullah khan:

Ahan, if you get any information please share it with me and if I come to know about any good book or any source so I will share it with you.

Default M.Law ...??

well... if someone has background regarding this subject than why are you thinking so much ?? why are you getting confuse? guys..kindly, believe on your capabilities..your hard work will make your luck to achieve an unyielding position. so , no need to get hurt. just prepare it and snatch the marks from examiner..Listen!Every subject is quite difficult before its preparation. Last but
not least, if you have interest regarding any subject than go for it because study with interest can make any subject easier and marks fetching for you.
P.s mercantile law is good choice.
Best regards
