For topics related to family Law: Family Law in Islam by Dr. Tahir Mansuri

For jurisprudence: Outlines of Islamic Jurisprudence by Imran Ahsan Nyazee

For Islamic Law of contract and business transactions, Islamic banking and insurance: Islamic Law of Contract and Business Transactions by Tahir Mansuri.

I am not sure what books should be consulted for preparing topics related to human rights in Islam and Islamic international law.

PS: Dont get scared by number of books, you'll only have to go through few chapters in each of these (except the family law one which is quite precise).

Before Jumping to any "Recommended" book, to have a flow of ideas and terminologies, read Aatir Rizvi's book at least once. You have enough time to tackle 2-3 books per subject,if you start from today even.
