For topics related to family Law: Family Law in Islam by Dr. Tahir Mansuri
For jurisprudence: Outlines of Islamic Jurisprudence by Imran Ahsan Nyazee For Islamic Law of contract and business transactions, Islamic banking and insurance: Islamic Law of Contract and Business Transactions by Tahir Mansuri. I am not sure what books should be consulted for preparing topics related to human rights in Islam and Islamic international law. PS: Dont get scared by number of books, you'll only have to go through few chapters in each of these (except the family law one which is quite precise). |

Before Jumping to any "Recommended" book, to have a flow of ideas and terminologies, read Aatir Rizvi's book at least once. You have enough time to tackle 2-3 books per subject,if you start from today even.
