Question y did i score low in muslim law

my paper of muslim law in 2009 was good (at least i thought so) but my marks in the subject are 61, perhaps a good reason 4 my not getting allocated. i hoped to get about 75-80 marks in the subject. can any body tel the posible reasons for the low scoring when apparenly the paper is good?

@ bhir

Well .. 61 in Muslim Law are very good marks to me .. Not excellent or exceptional but really very good .. Muslim law is not considered a very high scoring subject .. Most of the best candidates have been able to get marks in 60's .. Though there might have been times when someone scored in 70's or 80's before 2009 .. But i guess those were fluctuated times

And its a bit strange to allege Muslim law on not being allocated after scoring more than 60 % .. U might have lacked in other subjects, Believe me this score in Muslim law is not to be blamed

Wish u good luck in future ..
Regards ..

Of course there are strategies to score more than 61 in Muslim Law .. It really depends on how u prepared it the 1st time ..
1- If u consulted one book, then look for other texts as well in order to grip the concepts with a variation of thoughts in explanation ..
2- The books used must be authentic and preferably from the ones mentioned in suggested readings i.e Mullah's and Rahim's .. Another good book often mentioned by seniors is Fyzee's
3- Try to gain full marks in MCQs part by preparing them thoroughly ..

International Law is generally seen as more scoring than Muslim Law, But if u have interest in the subject and aim to score exceptionally well in Muslim Law and work accordingly, then there's no reason one cannot achieve it ..

Remember that i m still to appear in CSS-2012 InshaAllah, So i m not an authority as yet But these are the points i will be working on .. U can have better views from senior members

Regards ..
