History of Westren Philosophy by Bertrand Russel would help you a lot and if you are quite new to philosophy than Sophi's World by Jostien Garder is a marvelleous book for new ones, for logic Coupi's An Introduction to logic is sufficient if you find it difficult than George P Conger's A Course in Philosophy would be a nice book to start.for any discussion on philosophy main hoon na yar. we also conduct marxist schools on which different students prepare their lecture.any one who wishes to join us could t msg me.we often go to karachi university to discuss the different matters of philosophy with professors of philosophy like Sir Wahab Suri and Sir Javed Amiri
