In 2004 exam, the question asked about Allama Iqbal was about his "theory of knowledge".

In 2005 exam, the question about him was something like "has Allama Iqbal adequately proved in his work that Islam can successfully adopt the chanching requirements of world?"

There are many other aspects of the philosophy of Allama Iqbal and I hope that coming exam also shall include question about him.

Another interesting thing about philosophy paper is that in 2005 exam, more than 95% focus was only on "Muslim Philosophy". Not a single question was asked out of the portion of western philosophy. And also very few objective type questions were about western philosophy.

In 2004 exam, only one question was asked about any western philosophical theories and all the other questions were about "Muslim Philosophy".

It seems to me that the government is hesitating to induct in the hierarchy of athority, those who are familiar to western philosophies.....!

But it should not be considered as rule. We can hope that this year more questions shall be asked from western philosophy portion.
